Shri Ramakrishna Mission Belur Math, headquarters of Ramakrishna Mission As of 2019, the Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Math have 214 centres all over the world.There are 163 centres in India.

Around 14 Math Center in United States,15 Math Center in Bangladesh, , 2 Math Center in Russia and South Africa and one Math center each in  Australia,Argentina, Math Center Brazil, Center Canada, Center Germany, Center Fiji, Center Malaysia, Center Ireland, Center Japan, Center Mauritius, Center Nepal, Center Singapore, Center  SriLanka, Center Netherlands, Center Switzerland, Center UK, and Center Zambia. Besides, there are 45 Math sub-centres and Math sub Center 22 within India, 23 outside India under different centres.

The Math and Mission run 748 educational institutions, having 12 colleges , having 41 secondary schools 22 higher secondary schools, having 135 schools of other grades, having 4 polytechnics, having 7 orphanages, having 48 vocational training centres, 118 hostels etc) around a total student number of more than 2,00,000.

Besides these branch centres, there are about one thousand unaffiliated centres (popularly called 'private centres') all over the world started by the devotees and followers of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda.

The centres of the Ramakrishna Order outside India fall into two big categories countries Like Nepal and Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Fiji and Mauritius, the nature of service activities is very much closer to India.

In the other parts of the world, especially in United Statesand Europe, Canada and Australia and the Japan the work is mostly confined to the preaching of Vedanta, the publication books.Vedanta Journals and  personal guidance in spiritual matters. Most of the centres outside India are called as the  'Vedanta Society' and the 'Vedanta Centre'.
