Ramadan's lawsuit month will start from Saturday across the country, including Delhi. Moon of Ramadan was seen in several parts of the country including Delhi on Friday evening. The ulema has appealed to the Muslim community to supply prayers in their homes visible of the corona virus. PM Modi and vp Venkaiah Naidu have congratulated Ramadan.

Committee Secretary Maulana Muizuddin declared, "April 25, 2020 are going to be the primary date of the month of Ramadan." Mufti Mukarram said, "The moon has been seen in many places including Bihar, Kolkata, Ranchi and Haryana." Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the Shahi Imam of the mosque, also announced to be the primary Rosa on Saturday and congratulated the Muslim community for Ramadan. He said that the lockdown is applicable in order that people stay in homes and take the maximum amount precaution as possible.
